Registration

Montreal Heart of the City Piano Program offers two terms of piano lessons each year: September through December and January through April. Registration takes place at the beginning of each school term. If your child attends one of our partner schools, registration forms will be distributed in class for parents or guardians to sign and return. Partner schools include Sinclair Laird, Edward Murphy, St. Gabriel’s, and Champlain.

Keyboard Lending

We provide a keyboard lending program for students who are eager to practice outside of their lessons, but don’t have access to a piano. Students can borrow a keyboard for the duration of their term. To participate, simply fill out the keyboard borrowing form distributed at your child’s school.

YouTube Page

MHCPP has a YouTube page, along with many piano lessons recorded by our volunteers in English and French. The concepts explored come from the first three levels of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Your child can watch them on our YouTube channel to accelerate their progress as they wish. Learn more about our channel on the YouTube section of the website!
